My drive to Charlotte's Pass... Not looking too promising..

View from the start of my 20km hike. The trail goes down to that trail on
the right, up to the mountaintop on the top left and continues to the left.

The lookout into the next valley from the mountain at top left of last pic.
It had thunderstormed about 20 mins before I got to the top.

And looking back at that peak. Notice the snow patches...

Sandwiches for lunch. That's Mt Kosciuszko way behind me in the middle.

Finally got to the top of Mt Kosciuszko. This is the view back towards Charlotte's Pass.

Cool rocky mountain going back towards Charlotte's Pass.

And passed the Snowy River. It commences 6km from here and ends in the ocean.

Camping at the Geehi camping ground on the Alpine Way near Olsen's Lookout.

But forest fires from the thunderstorms had spread across the road before I could get
to Olsen's Lookout. This is from my campsite... Big herd of Kangaroos.
